All electron DFT with Fleur - a Hands-on Tutorial

We are very happy to invite you to the 2026 incarnation of the FLEUR hands-on tutorial. This will be a 100% in person event and targets as new as well as more experienced users of the FLEUR code who want to learn in an interactive manner the usage of the code.

Overview of the event:

• 23th of March until 27th of March 2026.
• We will offer a session with talks on FLEUR related topics in the morning of each day.
• There will be hands-on sessions each day demonstrating the use of the code and giving participants the change to discuss with developers and presenters.
• We also plan a poster session at which participants can present their results.

Venue and organisational hints

• The tutorial will take place at the Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany.
• To be able to profit most from the tutorial we recommend you to bring your own laptop. We will send more detailed information to all registered participant ahead of the workshop to help setting up the required environment.
