The FLAPW code FLEUR was
developed since 1998 predominately by Dr. Gustav
Bihlmayer and many
collaborators of the group of Prof. Stefan Blügel at the
Institute Theory I at the
Institute
für Festkörperforschung, Forschungszentrum Jülich. The
code includes previous developments of many researchers including e.g.
M. Weinert and R. Podloucky.
FLEUR
is an electronic structure code for cutting edge research. Using
such
a code without skills and background in electronic structure theory
and application is very difficult.
The code is distributed free of charge but without any
warranties. Please feel free to use it for your research projects but
be aware that it is solely your responsibility to check the results for
correctness and accuracy.
The code was tested on several machines and problems, but it
might not compile, run or produce correct results for the problems and
setups you are interested in. While you are strongly encouraged to
report
bugs, please note that the FLEUR group
in Jülich does not provide
user support.
You might want to modify the code and are welcome to do so.
If you would like to share such developments with other users
please consider to submit them to be included in the general FLEUR code.
In order to keep a minimum of consistency please refrain from
distributing the code yourself but refer other new users to this page.
If you publish papers including results of the FLEUR code
please
give appropriate references by citing http://www.flapw.de.
The data you enter here might be published in a list of FLEUR
users.
